SEKO logistics ranked best for technology solutions
SEKO Logistics has been recognized as the number one freight forwarding provider of information technology solutions in a survey of 4,725 qualified buyers of logistics and transportation services.
It was ranked best for IT in Logistics Management’s annual Quest for Quality survey, which for more than three decades has been regarded in the transportation and logistics industry as one of the most important measures of customer satisfaction and performance excellence.
To determine the best of the best, Logistics Management and Peerless Research Group (PRG) surveyed logistics buyers over six months of this year, asking them to rate carriers, third-party logistics providers (3PL) and US port operators strictly on the basis of service quality. In addition to its number one ranking for IT, SEKO Logistics was in awarded second place for value and on-time performance and was third overall for customer service.
Brian Bourke, Vice President of Marketing at SEKO Logistics, said, “This unique recognition of our IT solutions by thousands of highly-qualified logistics and transportation buyers is an acknowledgement of what we offer in the market. We are a ‘hybrid’ company that delivers measurable benefits to shippers looking for a highly integrated and highly sophisticated 3PL partner who can offer bundled software and shipping solutions. At the same time, we are also working with customers who are buying our unique Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to advance their asset and transport management.
“We enable our customers to connect all of their transportation statuses upstream from the vendor, and downstream to final delivery to their customers. We help them to launch new channels – ecommerce, websites, and store front applications – to find marketplace partners and get into global cross-border ecommerce through our connection to their order management, such as purchase orders as well as customer orders. Our customers are growing by taking advantage of the changing market because they know it’s the companies that can react fastest that win. SEKO has a track record of enabling them to connect all the dots.”
