Saudia Cargo carries 60 tons of equipment for Janadriyah festival

JEDDAH: Saudi Airlines Cargo Company (Saudia Cargo) contributed to the 33rd National Festival for Heritage and Culture (Janadriyah-33) by transporting some 60 tons of equipment for the inauguration ceremony held on December 20.

Organized by the Saudi Ministry of National Guard, the annual two-week event celebrates the Kingdom’s rich culture and heritage through poetry, arts, handicrafts, songs, dances and other performances.

Saudia Cargo said the equipment, tools, screens and cables were loaded to a B747-400 aircraft on Dec 8 from Châlons Vatry International Airport, France to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The whole load was carried back to Vatry on Dec 24.
