Iberia launches new flights to Nicaragua
Iberia will launch a new route from London to Managua, Nicaragua, via Madrid in October, with three return flights per week.
The new Iberia flight will be the sole direct link between Europe and Nicaragua, which is becoming a popular adventure and cultural tourist destination, offering great beaches for sun and surfing, climbing in the country’s volcanoes and hills, as well as charming colonial cities like Granada, founded in 1524.
On the route, Iberia will use its newest aircraft, the Airbus A330-200 seating 19 people in Business and 269 in Economy.
Business passengers all have direct access to the aisle, seats that unfold into flat beds two meters long, as well as 15.4” entertainment touch screens, and gourmet meals served with a selection of the best Spanish wines.
This new Managua route completes Iberia’s coverage of major destinations in Central America, where it currently flies from Madrid to the Panama City, San Jose of Costa Rica, San Salvador, and Guatemala City, with a total of 38 weekly return flights.
The Spanish airline is a market leader for flights between Europe and Latin America and is part of the IAG Group along with British Airways, Vueling, Aer Lingus and LEVEL.
