Deron A. Brown Joins GCL as President of U.S. Automotive – A Strategic Move for the Logistics Giant
Global Critical Logistics (GCL), a leading provider of logistics solutions, has appointed Deron A. Brown as its new Executive Vice President and President of U.S. Automotive.
Brown brings over 20 years of experience in the supply chain industry, holding a series of senior management roles, including at fractional private jet provider NetJets, and as a founding partner of air charter specialist, Wheels Up.

As a founding partner at Wheels Up, Brown played a pivotal role in establishing and leading a robust sales organization, contributing significantly to the company’s annual revenue, exceeding USD1 billion annually.
His expertise in crafting dynamic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and sales processes have enhanced operational efficiency and facilitated seamless lead generation.

His instrumental contributions in launching Wheels Up’s Aircraft Management and Sales and Acquisition businesses were pivotal in driving the company’s growth and profitability.
Prior to his role at Wheels Up, Brown served as the Executive Vice President of Sales, Central U.S. at NetJets, where he consistently achieved top sales region status and fostered a results-driven and accountable sales culture.
His commitment to excellence is reflected in his numerous accolades, including ten-time President’s Award winner at Abbott Vascular and Top Sales Executive at Guidant Corporation.
Brown was a walk-on football player at The Ohio State University, which instilled in him the determination and grit necessary to overcome challenges and achieve success.
His extensive network within the college and professional sports landscape, coupled with his ability to engage high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, underscores his aptitude for cultivating valuable connections and working in a team-first environment.
In his new role at GCL, Brown will leverage his expertise in revenue generation, talent development, and strategic marketing and branding to make meaningful contributions to GCL’s overall growth strategy.
