British Airways is back at Cologne Bonn Airport. The British airline now flies to London Heathrow up to twice a day and a total of 12 times a week.

“The fact that British Airways has now returned to Cologne/Bonn and is flying with high frequency to London Heathrow with its hub there makes us immensely happy,” Thilo Schmid, President and CEO of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH, said.

“The new connection is so attractive because it appeals to a  large number of passengers – especially from the economy of the region around Cologne and Bonn. London is one of the most important international business centres, travellers can fly to the whole world from Heathrow thanks to the hub, and last but not least, the metropolis is an extremely exciting destination for city trips.”

“As Cologne’s popularity as a culture hub continues to grow, we’re excited to return to a city we know both business and leisure customers love. We look forward to welcoming travellers back on our Cologne/Bonn to London Heathrow service this winter,” British Airways‘ Head of Sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Joerg Tuensmeyer, added.

London offers city travellers numerous world-famous sights such as Big Ben or Buckingham Palace, lots of museums and other cultural institutions as well as a vibrant nightlife with trendy bars and restaurants.

If you want to fly far away, Heathrow has connections to destinations on every continent in the world. Customers can seamlessly connect on to the British Airways longhaul network, with the schedule conveniently aligning with flights to New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Cape Town.

British Airways flies twice a day to Heathrow on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays (at around noon and 8pm), and one flight a day on Tuesdays and Saturdays (around noon). The same frequency applies to travel from London to the Rhineland. Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft will be used.
