ANA cargo volume surges by 119% in 2016

Japan based airline ANA has handled 537,966.1 tonnes of cargo volume in the year 2016. This represents an increase of 119 percent compared to 2015.


It has handled 391,348.4 tonnes of cargo volume for the international markets in the first half of 2016, that is an increase of 118.8 percent compared to the same period last year. In the second half of 2016, it witnessed 119.7 percent year-on-year increase in cargo volume for the international markets.


In the domestic market, ANA has handled 232,631.4 tonnes of cargo volume in the first half 0f 2016. This represents an increase of 96.4 percent compared the same period in 2015. In the second half of 2016, it has seen 99.1 percent year-on-year increase in the domestic market. All in all, cargo volumes increased to 97.1 percent to 316,569.4 tonnes in the domestic market.
