Nick Beauchamp Elected Vice Chair of BIFA
Nick Beauchamp, Director of Global Customs at DSV, has been elected as the new Vice Chair of the British International Freight Association (BIFA). Beauchamp, who has been an active member of BIFA’s Customs Policy Group since 2019, has played a crucial role in discussions and engagement with government bodies during this time.
With a decade of experience at DSV, where he leads the Global Customs division and oversees the company’s digital transformation programme, Beauchamp brings a wealth of expertise in customs compliance, security, warehousing, and export controls. His previous role as Director of Customs and Security for the UK and Ireland at DSV further underscores his extensive background in the sector.
In his new role, Beauchamp expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I’ve been a long-standing member of BIFA, working closely with industry peers as customs and excise regulations evolve. It’s an honour to join the BIFA Customs Policy Group as Vice Chair, and I’m eager to contribute alongside fellow BIFA members, HMRC, and other government departments.”
The BIFA Customs Policy Group, which meets quarterly, includes BIFA secretariat members, representatives from member companies, and invited experts from HMRC and other relevant government departments and organisations.
