Quick Cargo Service and Team Global Logistic Merge to Expand Service Reach
Quick Cargo Service and Team Global Logistic will merge their businesses with the aim of expanding the reach of service.
The two companies said that union is “poised to enhance service offerings, expand global reach, and deliver unparalleled value to customers worldwide”.
QCS announced the deal this week and said that following completion the two companies will operate under the QCS brand in order to ensure continuity and and leverage the market position established by the company over the past 50 years.
QCS chief executive Stephan Haltmayer said: “This merger marks a significant step for both Quick Cargo Service and Team Global Logistic. As we move forward together, we look to build on our strengths, aiming to enhance our service capabilities and meet the evolving needs of the cargo industry.”
Team Global Logistic managing director Norbert Heuber added: “Joining forces with Quick Cargo Service represents a significant milestone in our journey. We are excited about the possibilities this merger opens up for delivering enhanced services and solutions to our clients.”
Germany-headquartered owner-managed QCS employs more than 400 people and is present in 10 European countries with 28 offices. Its offering includes air, sea, road and rail and also offers special project charter, aerospace, life science and e-commerce solutions.
Team Global Logistic is headquartered in Austria – where QCS does not currently have a presence – and is based at Vienna Airport. The company offers air, sea, road and warehousing services.
