Lufthansa Cargo's CB Customs Broker Marks 50 Million Clearances in Three Years
Lufthansa Cargo’s CB Customs Broker subsidiary has carried out 50m clearances in its three-year existence.
The broker carries out import and export clearance for import and export shipments, for sea, rail or road, as well as by air, either through an automated process or individual, customised solutions.
The company said that as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Cargo, it has access to a strong global network and extensive expertise. It added that it has made a significant contribution to the expansion of e-commerce business in Germany and is enabling a large number of companies to participate in the growth of the sector.
Lufthansa’s fast freight arm, time:matters acquired the company in 2018 and operated it as a neutral partner offering customs clearance to forwarders, integrators and courier companies.
