Al Sharqi Shipping gets Top Customer Award for the third time

DUBAI: Al Sharqi Shipping bagged the “Top Customer Award” for the third year in a row from CMA CGM S.A., the third largest container carrier company in the world based in Marseille, France.
CMA CGM officials—Commercial Manager Santosh Devasper, Export Trade Manager Manoj Kumar and Deputy Manager VIP Desk Pradeep Vallath—personally hand-delivered the 2016 Top Customer Award to Al Sharqi’s headquarters in Dubai.
Kash Rafiq says the award is “a testament to our commitment towards our customers to provide them the best even when the going gets tough.”
Al Sharqi Shipping has been in the business since 1989.
The company, which traces its roots with humble beginnings at a small office in Bur Dubai, provides innovative logistics services, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, land transportation of goods from Sharjah and Jebel Ali ports to anywhere in the UAE.
From a handful of clients in 1989, Al Sharqi had tremendously grown, survived several tumultuous times and is on to conquering new heights.
Last year, Al Sharqi was chosen as one of the Top 100 SMEs in Dubai, a biennial ranking of the emirate’s fast-growing companies organized by the government’s Department of Economic Development.
