Oman Air Cargo Extends Partnership with Jettainer

Oman Air Cargo reaffirms long-term cooperation with Jettainer for successful Unit Load Device (ULD) management.

The two companies have, therefore, signed a contract extension, consequently extending their partnership for a further four years.

Jettainer will continue to manage the fleet of currently around 2,000 ULDs tailored to the needs of the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, contributing to increased revenue, sustainability, flexibility, and reduced costs.

Oman Air, as one of the leading airlines in the Middle East, has benefitted from Jettainer’s ULD management services since 2017.

Over the years, with the strong trust developed, and as genuine partners invested in helping to enhance customer success, Jettainer and Oman Air have successfully navigated the many challenges, such as the Covid pandemic.

Moreover, they have consistently adapted nimbly to various changes during these years, including necessary adjustments to the network, schedules, and fleet. Consequently, this adaptability has strengthened their partnership and operational efficiency.

In 2023, Oman Air took delivery of its first freighter, a B737-800 (BCF).

In 2024, Oman Air received a B787-9 and a B737 Max 9, with Jettainer supporting cargo operations expansion.

Oman Air will optimize its ULD fleet, incorporating innovations and services to meet future needs.
