Antonov Airlines and Golden Aviation Successfully Transport 95 Tons of Oil & Gas Equipment

Antonov Airlines, in partnership with Golden Aviation, has successfully transported 95 tons of critical oil and gas equipment from Stavanger, Norway, to Changi, Singapore, using an AN-124-100 freighter.

The operation covered 7,700 miles and involved handling oversized cargo, including cable reels and pipes, which required specialized loading and unloading equipment at both ends.

David Giles, Director of Operations at Golden Aviation, commented: “This complex mission involved the handling of oversized and heavy cargo, necessitating specialized equipment. Despite the logistical challenges, the AN-124-100 and its crew ensured the flight departed and arrived on schedule, demonstrating exceptional reliability and precision.”
