Bright Flight deploys freighter at Airport PAD
The cargo airline Bright Flight has recently deployed an Antonov An-26B freighter at Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport (PAD). Urgent deliveries up to 5.5 tons of freight can now be transported at short notice and to any location throughout Europe. This new cargo service is benefitting from the 24/7 operational approval at the airport.
“The ad hoc charter flights are essential for daily business and have been a necessity. Now more than 77,000 companies in our region will be able to gain from this stationing of Bright Flight,” says Dr Marc Cezanne, CEO at Airport PAD.
Just recently, 5.4 tons of rubber seals were sent to PAD with Bright Flight to remedy a shortage at an automotive manufacturer.
“The perfect conditions at Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport allow us to perform efficiently for our clients,” says Nikolay Panov, Sales and Marketing Manager Bright Flight. “Through the flexible structures given here, urgent orders can be met within two hours after acceptance.” Based on the geographically attractive location in the heart of Germany and the positive order situation, a second aircraft of the same type is already being used temporarily at Airport PAD.
Besides the transportation of automotive and machine parts, Bright Flight is authorized for special cargo such as dangerous goods, medical equipment and live animals.
